Finally! I can say some words that I know you have been just as anxious hear as I have been to say... WELCOME TO FULL FIGURED FASHION WEEK®!
While I don't think it is possible for you to be more excited than I am, I am positive the feeling is equivalent. This week is going to be amazing from start to finish because wherever two or more curvy girls are assembled, there is guaranteed to be big things (pun intended) poppin. That and the fact that the schedule is packed with options that will assure we are all entertained. Yeah, we are all interested in seeing new fashion and we know the runway shows are major but you have to know there is so much more.
Curvy Cabaret, Curves At Sea All White Cruise and the Plus Size Prom/Masquerade Gala, will be great for those who enjoy good music and dancing. If you are an industry influencer, looking to increase your knowledge about the industry or just want to network;there are several blogger panels that will cover an array of topics and place you in the same room with some major players. If you want to do a little shopping and hanging out, the Celebrate My Size Expo is the place to be. For all of you that live for the runway showcase; the new edition, The Legends Showcase and The Designers/Retailers showcase are just for you!
For the 7th year, Full Figured Fashion Week® has brought plus size women from all over the world together for what is a reunion/celebration. We come to the event for so many reasons and one is appreciation. Gwen DeVoe created the event because she saw a void and she knew the importance of that void being filled. As a plus size woman, how could you not appreciate that, a platform created just for you.
To all of the attendees, on behalf of Gwen Devoe and the Full Figured Fashion Week® team, welcome and thank you for being the best part of what we know is going to be an amazing week.
