Feel The Love Blogger Brunch Presented By Avenue

Feel The Love Blogger Brunch By AvenueAs you all know by now, we have closed another amazing FFFWeek®. This year was one of the best because it was filled with so many options. I know that Gwen and her team worked hard with the understanding that the entire FFFWeek® audience needed to be entertained, including influencers.

As an influencer, it is always great to have brands present and active at FFFWeek® because it allows us to see who is really supporting events that cater to us. During this year’s Full Figured Fashion Week®, I have to admit that I was happy that so many brands were present and active because as I have stated, it is vital. One of those brands was Avenue.

Avenue is a staple in the plus size community/industry so I was not surprised by their presence as much as I was excited to network with their team. Although life happened and I ended up stuck in the Lincoln Tunnel for hours, I did get to mingle a bit with some members of the PR team during their “Feel The Love Blogger Brunch.” I hate that I missed it but what I can say is that all of my blogger baes really enjoyed the intimacy of the brunch. You know us curvy girls can eat and talk fashion and life all do if you let us. LOL!!Feel the Love Blogger Brunch By Avenue

As a longtime customer of Avenue, I really like that they are so diverse. Yes, I am a blogger but I am a teacher too which means that my closet is very bipolar. I have a little bit of everything from business to the little black dress and everything in between; Oh and did I mention that I am a size 24 (sometimes 26 depending on the day). However, despite my look or size at the time, Avenue has me covered and I am here for that.

Luckily, I was able to get one of the gift bags that bloggers were given at the brunch. They were filled with so many goodies but my favorite was the new active wear leggings. I had the pleasure of wearing them yesterday and they are everything! I was able to move through the airport like O.J. Simpson did on that Hertz commercial (ugh did I just tell my age). As a girl with a big belly, I live for a legging that come up over my entire belly and these do just that. They hold you but they don’t restrict you and for that, I am in love!

Well, enough about my obsession with Avenue! I know you want to see photos from the brunch. These are just a few photos that were captured by blogger/photographer Farrah Estrella during the brunch. You will find more on social media, just search the hashtag #FFFWeek2016.

Chime in ladies and tell me what you think. Are you an Avenue woman; if so, what do you like most?
