Melina Alarcon

Melina is a Mexican designer based in Cancun, Mexico.  She has been an advocate for the plus size industry promoting better sizing and fittings with the manufacturers.  She founded the first Mexican boutique for plus size woman,  Le Donne Formose, in her hometown.  In December of 2014, Melina founded the brand Generose, where she started to produce dresses under fair practices and ethical conditions.

Her brand debuted at FFFWeek with a couture collection where her brand received worldwide recognition.  Her participation in FFFWeek led her to develop great connections in the plus industry, and she has recently been approached by a celebrity stylist for red carpet events.
Melina is also the founder of The Curvy Fest, an event dedicated to celebrating curves in all sizes and shapes.
