FFFWeek® is currently accepting applications for a limited number of non-paid positions and internships during Full Figured Fashion Week®. Volunteer and Internship opportunities with FFFWeek® is rewarding and offers individuals a unique opportunity to assist in breaking the stereotypes that are associated with fashion and plus size women. Volunteer Registration will end on April 15, 2017.
Volunteer opportunities are currently being offered in the following areas:
- Production Assistants
- Hospitality Hosts/Hostesses
- Social Media Assistants
Requirements:
- You must register online, using this form, and submit a resume and a full length photo. Incomplete applications will not be responded to.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and live within the 5 boroughs of NYC, New Jersey or Connecticut. We will no longer accept volunteers who do not live within the 5 boroughs.
- Hospitality Hosts/Hostesses must be able to work a minimum of two daytime FFFWeek® events during the week.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- All must have access to a computer, a cell phone and be comfortable with various computer software programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Social Media Assistants will be needed to post live from the events. Must be able to attend at least three events and must be familiar with social networking sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- While on assignment, email must be checked frequently and responded to within 24 hours.
- Volunteer registration will end on April 15, 2017.
