Tips on what to wear during FFFWeek

One of the most exciting things about Full Figured Fashion Week (FFFWeek) is being able to see how beautiful all of the plus size ladies and gentlemen that attend the event every year look. Everyone is dressed to impress and we love it!!.

We wanted to give you a few tips on what to wear for each event to help you before you go shopping.

The White Cruise: One of the most popular events during FFFWeek is the All White Cruise. This year we have a bigger boat and a white glove catering service..whohoo!!..What’s not to like?. Besides wearing white of course, remember to wear comfortable shoes. There is a lot of dancing going on and for the most part you will be standing up looking at the beautiful view of Manhattan or networking and chatting up with some old friends as well as making new ones. By no means have we meant flip flops, no!! It’s New York!! We can never lose our glamour. Wedges, cute flats or a comfortable heel that you know you can walk on or stand for a few hours is great.

Indie Designers Fashion Show: The 2 nights of fashion shows usually kicks off with the Indie Designers and this night is very exciting because we get to see the emerging new talent in the plus size industry. Wear your one of kind outfits and if you have an outfit from one of the designers showcasing on the show that night, make sure that you take plenty of pictures to show off their creation. You will be seated during the show and this is the night to show off. Be creative and fun, take risk with your fashion choices.

Retailers & Boutiques Fashion Show/Awards Ceremony: Day 2 of fashion shows is very glamorous. Not only is the last day of FFFWeek but it is also the awards ceremony where we get to honor the best of best in the Plus size industry. Imagine what you would wear to the Oscars, well this is the Oscars of the plus size industry and only your best look will work. Dress up, be confident, smile for the cameras and be yourself.
