Your Big Sister's Closet is a boutique built by love. In 2010, storeowner Karen Ward began a blog called Curvy Canadian. There were very few options available for plus size women in Canada. Karen wanted to address that, and help women find great clothing options. Having had a lifelong love of fashion, in 2012 Karen decided to open her very own plus size boutique in Toronto called Your Big Sister's Closet.
Her newlywed husband Peter Chiem, decided to leave a very successful career in corporate buying to pursue this dream alongside Karen. Together, they have built something incredibly beautiful, and are extremely fortunate to have the ability to help women find fashion-forward clothes each and every day!
